Anchored by six industries, the Grove area’s economy includes tourism, retail trade, service industry, health services, manufacturing and retirement. The Grove and Grand Lake areas see a significant rise in employment during the summer months of June through September when seasonal employment delivers a thrust to the local economy.

Located east of the city, the Grove Industrial Park currently houses 12 warehouses or manufacturing facilities, with sites still available. Located near the NEO A&M College-Grove campus, the new Professional Center, an office complex with space for six office buildings, is designed to house professional businesses such as doctors, lawyers and architects.

Quality of life and business profitability are the focus of the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, whose mission statement is “ ... organized to represent business and improve community leadership for the continued development of a diverse and prospering local economy, improvement of quality of life, and fostering a hospitable business climate.” The Chamber serves the community by consistently working to expand industry in Grove.

Monthly events are hosted by the Chamber for its members and the community. These events range from Eggs N Issues Legislative Breakfasts and Chamber Connection Luncheons, to Business After Hours, where new business owners can socialize and meet the residents and business owners of the Grove community.

Providing an excellent way to market business in the Grand Lake area, the Chamber sponsors the annual Grove Home & Garden Show in the winter, and a Business Expo at Grovefest in June.

The strength of the Chamber lies in its membership, which enables it to accomplish collectively what cannot be done individually. Relying on Chamber volunteers to meet the needs of the community, the scope of the Chamber’s ability to maintain the structure of Living the Grand Life is unlimited.
